Rest in HimBible verses for sleep · Night prayer · Prayer journal
God's promises for anxious nights.
Scripture for 3 AM and slow mornings, read aloud word for word. A prayer journal that remembers what He answered. And the whole verse on your lock screen.
Coming to iPhone and Android this December. Scripture is always free.
I will lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.Psalm 4:8 · BSB
For 3 AM, and for mornings
One tap when your mind won't stop.
- 3 AM mode opens a dim sky and a slow breathing lamp. God's promises play on a loop with rain and a 30-minute timer.
- Nothing interrupts a night session: no chimes, no prompts, no offers.
- In the morning, one promise arrives at the time you choose, with the full verse right in the notification.
3 AM mode and the morning promise are free. Read the Bible verses for sleep or pray night prayer.
Read aloud, word for word
Ninety of God's promises in nine albums.
- Hannah or Samuel reads each verse exactly as written while the words light up, in the BSB, WEB or KJV.
- Hannah and Samuel are AI voices, labelled as such, and every line they read was checked against the text.
- Prefer quiet? Read along, or record the promises in your own voice.
Browse all 90 of God's promises.
A prayer journal that remembers
Pray it. Date it. Mark it answered.
- Write down what you're carrying, and for whom.
- When God answers, mark it Answered, Answered differently or Not yet, and write how. One prayer can hold many answers.
- “Remember His faithfulness” shows them month by month, so the next hard night has a record to stand on.
- Lock it with Face ID or a fingerprint.
The whole prayer board is free, with no limits. How the prayer journal works.
The whole verse, everywhere
Never cut off. Never “open app to refresh.”
- Home-screen and lock-screen widgets show the full verse and refresh by themselves.
- Record God's promises in your own voice, one line at a time, and play them back with space to say them aloud.
- It feels strange the first day. Most people say it gets more powerful.
Every widget is free, and so are your first 5 recordings. About the Bible verse widget.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. These are free forever:
- every verse in every album, in all three translations
- 3 AM mode
- the morning promise
- every widget
- the full prayer board, with export
- 5 recordings in your own voice
There are no ads. Nothing that is free will ever be moved behind the paywall. Plus adds listening sessions for the other albums, all-night loops, more soundscapes and unlimited recordings. If you can't afford Plus, take a year on us, no questions.
Is there any AI in the app?
In the voices, yes. Hannah and Samuel, the two narrators, are AI voices, labelled “AI narrator” wherever you choose a voice, and every verse they read was checked word for word against the text. Scripture itself is never AI-written or changed: every verse is shown word for word from public-domain translations, with its reference, and there are no AI-written devotionals or prayers. You can also hear His promises in your own recorded voice, or read along.
Which Bible translations?
The Berean Standard Bible (the default), the World English Bible and the King James Version. You can switch anytime.
What happens when a free trial ends?
The 14-day trial is only on the yearly plan. Two days before it ends, the app sends you a reminder with the exact date and price. Managing your subscription is two taps away.
Is my prayer journal private?
Yes. Your prayers stay on your phone and in your own iCloud or Android backup. You can lock the prayer board with Face ID or a fingerprint, private prayers show only “Time to pray” in notifications, and there is no account and no feed.
Do I need an account?
No. Open it and a verse plays within 30 seconds.
Will it buzz me at night?
No. Rest in Him never sends offers between 10pm and 5am, never asks for a rating at night, and stays silent during a night session. You get one morning promise a day, plus any prayer reminders you set yourself.
Is Rest in Him for a particular church?
No. It's nondenominational: Scripture, word for word, for any Christian woman who wants it.
I'm struggling right now.
Rest in Him is not a substitute for care. If you are in crisis in the US, call or text 988, or contact your local emergency number.
